On May 18, under the banner of "Making Future Makers," several hundred middle and high school students joined representatives from Connecticut's diverse manufacturing industries for an exciting morning of hands-on education about career opportunities in the field. The third event of five such events throughout the state, Thursday's experience was held at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury and was organized by ReadyCT, the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board (NRWIB) and the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
